T68 Skin - In the US??? |

Okay, I've been trying to find a way of protecting my Ericsson if I go ahead & go though with redeeming the warranty. I found a great case which I believe will do it, but I have only found 2 websites which appear to sell it currently - neither in the US. The page with pictures is at:

I found another page which I *think* has it, though they don't have a picture of it. My problem there is even if it is it, the site is still outside of the US. I can't find it anywhere else on the net, even if some other place has it ouside the US, I'm hopping they can ship here. Has anybody seen this case anywhere else? If it's sold under a different name then please let me know. Thanks...

Just for the record, i`ve managed to drop my 13mnth old t68 on numerous surfaces on many ocaisions, without a protective case & it never missed a beat. |

go to ebay or yahoo shopping search for condom case i beleive that is what they are called

If you want to protect your t68, just dun drop it. A condom case is as good as nothing. It only protects from scratches but pressing of button is difficult. A real pain in the ass. I can't find a good cover anywhere, even the one from ericsson is crap

"Don't drop it" is a little simplistic a responce. I got my T68m, and within 2 weeks the volume slider broke off from normal use. When I recieved my replacement it broke off again 2 weeks later due to dropping it only 12 inches. Being that sneezing on it will break it, I'll do what I can...
And based on the picture I believe the skin shown may actually be made do hard plastic, rather than a rubbery material like the "condom" covers. If you look in the picture, there is a slot open around the joystick which would only hold it's shape if it were hard plastic. The "condom" cases have no such hole. I ordered one of the "condom" cases off of eBay. I'm rather certain the Fone Skin is different. I believe it will protect my cell pretty well overall...

I like the Krusell case I bought from ExecutivePDA.com (someone here recommended it). It is very tight and form-fitting, keeps all ports open, and doesn't create much nuisance with keypad usage. |
