An accelerator is the pedal on the right in your car that makes it go faster if you press it. Never seen one on a phone before.

Its a device that converts motion into electric current. Its used as a pedometer in some phones and the auto-rotate feature in others.
Its not something that can be downloaded as it is part of the phones hardware.
I don't think the N73 has it.

Ohhhk ... but N93 review has written acceloretor ! does N93 have the same fuction which can tell us for the exercising ...
And does N73 Music Edition have flash lite themes ?

The accelerometer is the thing that helps the phone screen move into landscape mode when the phone is tilted.
The Iphone has it and the W710 - but in the se case its used for counting the users footsteps.

i know download accelerators for you pc connection
DAP,GetRight,filezilla etc.
havn't tested those called accelerators for your mobile, because i don't think it's any good.
the max connection here in holland is like 5/6kb/s with gprs and 50-100kbp/s with umts.
most services / download locations etc. have much bigger upload capacities compared to the max download speed with your mobile.
.... so basicly there isn't much to accelerate.
accelerators on your pc do connect to multiple hosts with extra connections.
mobile phone are limited to 3connections at once if i'm correct.

Or maybe he meant a graphics accelerator like the N93, N95,E90 etc. are equiped with. |

Yes , i saw the N93 review at youtube , the man was saying it has an accelator ( OR WHATEVER IT IS )
then i remember that ive heard the name somewhere else
so i thought i should ask on Esato what the damn this isz ...

mentioning the source of the site/link/or wherever you heard or saw it, might help others figure out what you mean.
otherwise it will be impossible to give you an answer as most users already explained what it could be but you still don't know it...just say exactly where you saw and heard it, don't just say "in a N93 review".. |

It means that the processor has a part that is only for drawing graphics. This means the phone can handle much more advanced graphics (such as 3D games) because it has it's own memory and because it can draw independantly of the main processor. Fraid the N73 doesn't have one. |
