I have the key light issue too, but as already mentioned it does come back. This version is much better in terms of performance as it stays in memory.

So the default ini file settings this time are:
[iPhoneLock]
StartOnBackground=1
idleTimeOut=30
ScreenBackground=
UseThemeBackground=0
AnimOnExitSpeed=5
SliderMoveCenterPos=1
TimeToDisplayOffAfterLock=15
ScreenBrightnesAfterLock=30
SystemTaskMode=0
So start on background is enabled by default - thats why it stays in memory?
Just need to change UseThemeBackground=1 to get my own wallpaper instead of the fish & we're sorted

If you have the program in background, and then edit the .ini file, you have to restart the app for your settings to take affect. |

Ahhh... This latest one turns my backlight and key light off when you unlock it!
The only way to get the lights working again is to go to the Control Panel->Device->Backlight and change the Power Save enabled either on or off either way works but it needs to change to put the backlight back on! - Mystery...
I have now uninstalled it! - awaiting next instalment
Probably go back to the last signed one...

I don't understand the light behavior. Sometimes the keypad stays off after unlocking, sometimes even the screen is dimmed after unlocking! Then the keypad light switchs on when the phone is locked.. |

I do hope Kwull finds a away of disabling the @/camera buttons....
I have no problems with the backlight, my settings are:
Handheld: Auto
Car Holder: On
Power Save Enabled
Active after: 2mins
Is it possible that you've caused an error in the application by playing around with it too much? I'd try killing the task in SMP and restarting.
EDIT: My appolgies, have just discovered the bug with the backlight, there seems to be a conflict with the built in power saving, when the screen stays dim, it does come back to normal with the keys though.
EDITpt2: I've noticed that the keys come back to life immediately on unlock if it's been left locked for about 1 minute.

Any further updates on this?
I'm back to using 0.03(2) with
StartOnBackground=0 and
UseThemeBackground=1
via an icon on the main screen to activate, as this is most stable for me and does what I want without causing other problems...

I've been checking the thread on Smart SE daily, but no update. The latest version really is the best in terms of performance. It's just a shame about the light bug.

Good news - there is a new version of iPhoneLock available that, amongst other things, fixes the backlight issue (apparently).
Version 0.4.2 (Beta). Requires signature
If before that was installed without TestUID version, it must first remove.
+ signal and battery indicators are taken in order to c: d: z: From \\ Resource \\ ZSBLIB \\ ZSBLIB.MBM
+ mode locking blocked all buttons except PowerOff
+ fixed backlight display
-- at P1i/w960 after shutting / inclusion screen backlight turns off the keyboard to include not know. One option is not to disable the display, but its brightness to reduce the minimum allowable
+ slightly improved energy conservation
+ hours are better now smile.gif colon flashes once per second
+ added exit iPhoneLock - twice sliders slide from left to right (from start to finish, not removing finger / stylus)
+ should not now depart after a long time

It's such a shame - surely Kwull must realise this bug is there? A lot of them use the P1 over on Smart SE.

Well it's still in beta, and from what I understand, coding for UIQ3 is not that straightforward - give him/her time. |
