Hi all, visited Vodafone today to see if they could beat my current contract price (just a cover up to try find out the release date) and came out with a "no" and a confirmed W960 release date. Here is the convo:
Dude: Hi
Me: Hey, just wondering if you could beat my current O2 price plan. 600 minutes, 400 texts, £25/mo.
Dude: Nope sorry
Me: OK, do you know when the W960 is coming out?
*Dude taps some keys*
Dude: October
Me: K, tnx
Well it wasn't a confirmed DATE but at least I got the month! LOL!
P.S - would never change from O2, they are the best!

i heard that the k850i was out october and the w960 novemeber/december..... cant rememeber where - infact i may have dream't it......
Just upgraded my current contract as im sure whatever the date is orange will be lagging well behind on the release

I thought Orange and SE announced that Orange would be getting the Walkman ranges of phones first? in some sort of deal they struck tied in to finding and launching an unknown band through TV show didn't they?

W950i wasnt branded at all (hardware and boxed stuff)
hopefully W960i would be the same
