How do you place Wi-Fi Scanning on main display? |

I know it can be done as ive seen it but does anyone know how to do it ?
Phones a Nokia N80 just got it today

turn active standby on
tools > settings > general > personalisation > standby mode > active standby - on

Personalization isn't in General Masseur!
My N80's slightley different to my mates one,
I think 02 have changed a few things

o2 ones should be the same as the generic ones, check it at settings - general - active standby ( didnt know that n80 has got that wifi as active standby )

change the region code to the n80ie version and update the firmware

Boba ive found it but theres no Wi-Fi Scanning option for the main display,
does it only work on the Internet edition N80's then or N80ie lol
I was gonna see if there was any available updates on the nokia site for it as its 2006 still on the FW lol

aha, then u saw the internet version ( where wlan wizard was also incl in the fw ) cos as i recall, n80 havent got it, but then i wasnt sure anymore

doesn't nokia allow you to download that version to the phone

u can download the wlan wizard from nokia website ( i use that too in e60 ) but that doesnt gives u the wifi as standby icon. guess u can flash the n80 with the internet edition, but not sure in that, maybe its also hw depending...

not hardware 100% firmware... i coverted one before... if you want that the wlan status bar you'll need to convert to ie

I updated my 02 branded N80 to generic IE FW (Ver. 4.0632.0.38) about a month ago. DragonEye is quite right you need to do this to get the Wlan status to show in the standby screen. However even once you've updated the firmware you still need to install the Wifi Scanner app, but it will show in the standby screen unlike on the standard N80 FW. |

ok is this easy to do?
I updated the phone to vers 4 on the nokia update thingy earlier it's made the phone send texts abit quicker now and it's enhanced the 02 rubbish by the looks of it 
btw it's a very good phone I was disapointed I couldn't get 1 at start of the year and had to have that crap K800i lols
