well i think i must first realize how this Code works,my problems lie here for sure.for example i can't get Operamini to run when i've placed it under Entertainment submenu...

allright,i've told you already.....fixed..
in fact i've edited max_wedge's CustomMenuPack( the one that has only 6 submenus) to suite my needs best...if he doesn't mind :>
but a weird problem still exists,the submenu number 3 is named "Phone" in menu.mi ... but in phone it is named Calls.
i edited menu.ml and gave the name "Calls and Messaging" to it,but in phone it is still "Calls"..
why doesn't the phone accept the name given?

well count this mistake as my poor English..
anyways...i changed this line in order to have the name of the third submenu changed from "Calls" to "Calls and Messaging" :

but when i tried to access the menu through phone,an error message poped up and only two first submenus were visible...
so i realized that there is something wrong with the changes i've made above,are there???
btw,i stuffed many useful applications and other options into some of the submenus such as Dictionary(under Application menu),Torch(under Entertainment),Contact search app.(under Calls..you must know this app,it searchs through phonebook just like windows mobiles and the new K850;)),Unit Converter (under Organizer) and many other Persian apps such as persian dic or maps or persian calender....(as i am persian:P)...after all it is really cool now ....
i'll upload the menu.ml if anyone is interested  ... oh and all credits go to max_wedge ofcourse

hello....
just another weird problem,no not a problem,an issue that must be fixed.
when i resize icons like this : (icons that are not geometric )
to 24*XX pixels,they are shown in the phone with a filled white rectangle around them which is not so nice...
the weird thing is that this problem doesn't exist when i place them in the phone without resizing...or maybe this is not weird but i'm dumb in photo editing
anyone???

hey dude, glad to see you enjoying menu modding
I think the size of icons is critical if you go outside certain parameters. You will have to experiment with different sizes.
If they are all the same size they should line up properly.

hi to all of you guys I'm from macedonia and I have a SE k800i
I want to change the icons on the menu (to mod the menu)
and a really great friend helped me a lot.I've installed the XS+ and when I connect the phone it sais error in opening the connection port

follow the instructions at the first post of this thread.
You must load the usb update drivers before you can connect to xs++. Turn of the phone, hold c, then plug the phone in while holding c. Don't let go of c until the computer pops up a message asking to install the usb update driver.
If your phone turns on when you plug in the cable, you are possibly not holding the c button firmly enough.

Nice guide Max, really easy!
Theres just two things i really like to get answers to.
First, im using XS++ v3.1 (Darwin) and when i upload camdrivers i dont choose breakSX or customization or create a folder within XS++ -
i just connect my phone with XS and choose FSX -> Start FSX and browse to the location and then drag files into the folder.
- Can i do the same for the menu files?
And the final question is, i have a swedish K800i with Vodafone operator, no special brand just a clean phone.
If i like to go back to normal menus i just upload a original "menu.ml" right? Does it matter where i got the menu.ml -
i mean that person who uploaded that file on the internet that i downloaded maybe has a different K800i.. do you understand what i mean?
