Camera flash vs flash light |

In the phone comparison chart I would like to see if the phone can be used as a flash light. (I guess that xenon camera flashes cannot be used as flash lights?)
What do you think? |

No , but with Torch.jar K800 (K810) can start illuminator on Autofocus - red light .
And with light.jar - white display on phone . |

I had the K750i as my last phone, I have to admit that I miss the white LED light for taking photo's. i find the flash on my K800i too bright at close quarters and get overexposure even with the camera exposure at -2.00. The flash fails also at distances over 3 meters, as with my basic Olympus digi camera the flash is fine to around 5 meters. In my opinion, the K800i could serve me well with a white LED as well, it would round the camera functions up nicely.

Well SE's new camera phones will have dual-flashes (both Xenon and LED), soo you'll still be able to use the flash as a torch. |

if i'm not mistakened, the k850i has both xenon flash and led,so there might be an option to choose between one the two, that way you can overcome the overexposure problem...
EDIT:lol,we always say almost the same things at the same times!

When taking images, the Xenon Flash will be the BEST to use ! As I think that there are times the Xenon Flash (indoor-night-shots) are much SHARPER compared with those taken - OUTdoors even when the SUN is shining at it's - PEAK ! strange . . . BUT TRUE (with my experience ) . . .

Trully speaking I think that the xenon flash would be much better.

the xenon burns too bright. You can't run a xenon for more than a second, it will burnt out, then you will have no xenon flash at all.
