Hi guys;

My n95 fw:12.0.013 has three major problems;

1) when in camera mode,especially in night when I press the shutter the focusing assist light fires. If I'm lucky with the light n95 focuses. If not I release the shutter and re-press it but this time focus light doesn't fire.If I try for 2nd or 3rd or 4th time at last the focus assist light fires.

2) Generally again in night If I choose night portrait mode and as I said on above If n95 can't focus, It can't focus again! I mean closing the camera program and re-open doesn't work. regardless of the scene mode (I take it back to auto again) it doesn't focus anywhere just red focusing line. To solve it I have to restart the phone

3) In Wifi; If I take a lot of data over wifi (podcasts say min.5 mb) and then If I leave my phone to go to keylock and sleep when I use it again it can't connect to any wifi available. although It can find it no way to connect(meaning that web browser says; no wifi point or something like that) solution again a cold start.

any solutions you know guys? or do you see this problems on your mobiles too?

Never had a wifi problem on mine it works perfectly.

However auto focus is utter crap to put it kindly. Camera on my K800i was better TBH. Even in perfect daylight the camera will struggle to focus in auto mode. Just comes up as red, can take 3-4 goes sometimes to get it to focus properly.

Close-up (macro mode) works very well though - normally focuses 1st time.

Hi all,

My now sold N95 with V12 Firmware suffered from none of the problems you are experiencing i would advise either doing a reformat and if that doesnt make any difference taking it a Nokia Service Centre for them to check it over and possibly reflash the firmware.

it is good to know that auto focus has general problems? may be a firmware upgrade can solve this? for wifi I will try to isolate the problem better

Yesterday I also experienced this non-connectivity to a wifi network: I found the network instantly (this is a WIFI access point I've previously used), but when I try to connect to a website - can't do. Tried resetting the phone - didn't work. I'm trying today to see what happens, or else I'm going to a service center.
