K750i Wont Start Help! |

basically my phone wont start..a tech dude said i may need new software and wanted to charge me for them to do it...my phone wont go past the sony ericsson sign as you first turn the phone on i just get a white screen and then it keeps doing it any ideas most welcome ta! |

Try removing the memory card & see if that helps.
If not have you tried updating the phones software with SEUS?
Its FREE, you just need a fast internet connection & the usb cable that came with the phone.

i have tried updating the software on the ericsson website but my phone wont turn on to accept it and as for the seus...im screwed as i have not go a clue wat that is.. whatever else u can suggest would be a mighty help ta. |

SEUS is the Sony Ericsson Update Service on there website, sounds like you have already tried that. |

yeah i have just keep getting a white screen i dont know wat else i can try and plus the usb cable is poo i just charges the phone and cant transfer files and the hardware wont even install on this comp cos of the usb |

isn't the phone supposed to be OFF while doing a firmware flashing? if you did follow the instructions and still got the WSOD, could probably be a hardware problem? |

You have installed the USB drivers for your phone?
Im a K750I owner & I find the usb cable works fine, using it at the minute to play mp3's through my pc. |

im going to try and install all the drivers but cant do it with the phone...any ideas where i can get the stuff from elsewere? p.s im not too sure of what phone xs is

have same problem with my p990 1 yers ago, i remove the butteri abaut 1 haur and memory stick, then make reflash with seus but first time it freezed, then i try again,do the same things and my broblem was solved and i was very happy because i thought that my phone was dead
