My K750i has the "White Screen of Death" (a flashing white screen). I've been looking around various forums and some people reccommended using the Sony Ericsson Update Service. Does anyone reccommend this and has it worked for anyone else?

Also my question is that the Update Service says that I need to make sure that my phone is fully charged. But my charger is broken and I used to use my data cable to charge the phone so now I have no way of knowing whether it will be fully charged. Do you think this will matter?

Does anyone else have any tips for the White Screen of Death (WSOD)?

hi

well, you can flash your phone by yourself using a third party software(phone xs or far manager or far manager+phone xs) and you wont take too long to sort your problem.

visit this thread: The flashing/modding thread - All phones - CID 51/52 now supported

Okay my phone was plugged into my computer for it to charge. But halfway through that it turned off. The flashing screen stopped but now the phone will not turn on. I've tried the power button but that doesn't work. I've tried taking out then replugging the USB but that doesn't make the slightest difference. I've tried plugging the phone into a differnet port into a different computer and that doesn't work. Someone PLEASEEEEEEEEE HELP!

Okay now its started flashing again which is a good sign. I think I'm going to leave it to charge for about 2 hours and then try to use SEUS. Will SEUS work with my phone in this condition?

if you have enough charge(more than 40 percent, imo), SEUS will do it fine.

note: you cant post no more as anti-scam politics. PM me if you need some help

cheers

Okay well I tried SEUS and it stopped at about 24%. I think this was because I didn't have enough battery. During SEUS I left the battery in because that is what the program told me to do. Apparently this is not what I am supposed to do.. Do you think my phone has been damaged because of this?

After that my phone wouldn't turn on. The LED/Infrared at the top flashed sometimes when I tried to turn it on so I figured that the battery was just dead.

So I bought a charger and tried to charge it. Its one of those chargers with a light that turns red when its charging and green when its not. When I plug my phone in it charges for maybe 30 secs/a minute and then it stops charging. It still will not turn on. Now the LED doesn't even flash. Does someone have any clue what I've done and how I can possibly fix it?
