I use 'Theme creator 3.1.7' (its free) A 'how to use' comes with it

Definately use Theme Creator, but you'll need Photoshop to do it justice. Use Esato search to find 'Theme tutorials'; there's a couple on here.
A tip for making good themes is to use pictures which don't have a large number of contrasting colours in them. This is because the pictures need to set a good background for the menu text. Many a good theme idea has been undone by unreadable text.

I love Photoshop if it works anything like any of the software in Adobe CS3 im laughing already, im downloading the software as soon as ive finished working on my latest video's ill get stuck into theme creating.

Adobe Creative Suite 3 (mainly it's Photoshop CS3) used with SE themes creator together is a real BOMB . You can make EXCELLENT themes with that. But the Photoshop needs some experience to work and get used to it, because it is professional image editing/creating software and it is a little weird for total beginners imo.
