I need help with my signature please. |

Ive tried many times to show up my signature in my posts but I failed. I keep on seeing my phone info which is not what I want. Ive even asked a mod and a few members but all my efforts are futile. What do i realy need to do? Any kind of help will be apreciatable. Thank you in advance.

as I understand it, signatures are not shown when posting from wap.
so post from a PC or use mobile.esato.com to post instead of wap.esato.com

@masseur I did post from a pc but stil ij was the same issue. All my posts that dont show up my phone info were posted from a pc. You talked about wap and mobile, what is the difference between the two? Is it the browser or what?

wap.esato.com is a very minimal version of esato designed to minimise data costs which uses wml
mobile.esato.com is a cut down version of the full esato, mostly without images and extra stuff on the page that is not required, but it uses html and looks more like the full esato experience while still reducing data costs
I've had a look back through your posts and though you mostly seem to post on wap I have found a couple of posts without signatures.
I cannot see the signature part of your profile detail so please let me know what is in your signature? perhaps you have some unrecognised codes that cause the display to fail?
also, what browser do you use on your pc?

Iam not sure about the browser version. I ussualy go to esato in the web search from my email adress when Iam on a pc. I will pm the signature to you. What i ussually see is wap 2.0 when iam on my mobile default browser.Thanks a lot.

Well all I did was go on preferences and selected 'always show signature'

@psp476 i have done that but it is still the same issue. @masseur you mentioned something on codes in my profile whibh might not be vissible. What codes are those? Could it be the bb code, html and smileys or what? What do i need to do with those? Iam on mobile.esato.com now but still my efforts seem to be futile again.

@comfort mdu, the codes I was referring to was possible bbcode or html ni your signature, but as I replied in PM, your signature looks fine.
Assuming you either have the preferences setting set, or manually tick the "show signature" box as you make each post, then I have no other explanation as to why it is not appearnig and you will probably have to ask laffen to check it out

Well thanks a lot esato mates, I have finaly found a way to make this possible. I have posted on one topic an saw my signature. I am very happy.
