My W810i jack(don't know the correct name) is very loose even after replacement from Sony Ericsson service centre,with in an week it start giving same problem.it rarely detects usb and earplugs.How many times i have to replace.I can't update my phone because of this problem.

it's the fastport, mate. anyways could it be your accessories instead of the port itself? if your accessories fit well on other SE phones, then get your service center to replace the entire fastport again.

@waspinator (fan of Beast Wars Yeeeesss ???)

Could be that the pins on the main PCB haven't lined up with the slot on the Fastport connector inside the phone (The main PCB slides into the rear of the fastport)

Or it could be as stated above where the accessories are at fault.


I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

take it back to service center.,i'm pretty sure that it still have a warranty
you can always find one if you know where to look

@Rookwise:Yes,it is lined up correctly.I hear very low sound on earphone,but when i press the earphone connector(male ),it gets normal.I have to hold it tightly everytime while listening to music.
