I just bought a K800i in Sony Ericsson Robinsons Ortigas, after 10 days there's no power anymore, so i went back at robinsons and they will check on the software, but they told me that they cant do anything, they have to send it to their service center, but it would take a week or so, (accdg to them it's out of warranty 7 days for replacement) so i took the phone and asked them If I could go somewhere else coz I need the phone, so I went to Semicon in Megamall and asked if they could do something, they will check again the software, and asked me to go back after 2-3 hours, so when I went back they told me that it's not software problem, they opened it up and check the parts, We were not informed that they will open the phone, since it is new, I believe that if they will change something on that it's already a recondition, right? but we dont have any choice they opened it up, so they asked me to call back tomorrow to check on the status of the phone. Accdg to the staff of Semicon, they are authorized service center of Sony Ericsson, the cp will still under warranty for 1 year even they opened the phone. Ofcourse I was hesistant at first but I need the phone, I was just thinking if they will going to replace the parts of the phone w/ the used one, so I really need help and more information if the SEMICON in Megamall is really authorized to change the parts or do anything on the phone on behalf of Sony Ericsson, (i purchased the phone last July 31, 2007). Please let me know, thank you! |
