All,
I am using Sony Ericsson K700i phone from past 2.5 years. From past 1 year I have big problem with Joy Stick[Sony phones suck in this]. Lately I found the following bugs in the phone.
1] Receive, 1, 2, 3, and power-off buttons stopped working
2] If I use joy-stick, when I try to move up or right, the phone resets**
3] Sometime, the phone resets** without any input
** The phone resets in exactly the same way it would have done if I pressed power-off followed by power-on.
I wanted to do a master reset [navigating through the left over keys]. But unfortunately my Phone PIN needs one of the numbers in 1,2 and 3. This has become a very big headache for me, since I am not able to call anyone nor receive the same.
This is my queries for you.
1] Have you faced a similar problem? If so the solution you applied
2] Any idea why the phone resets when joy-stick is used. Is there some exception getting generated in this input device?
