Hi all,
I have a weird problem with my K750.
The camera light stays on all the time, even when the phone is off!
Anybody seen this?
Fixes?
Thanks in advance |

first try a master reset. if it doesnt help, upgrade it with the latest fw or just flash it with the one u have already in the fone. if non of those helps, maybe its a hw bug... do u have any se service in your near?

it seems like a hardware problem. take it to a service center and let them check your phone.
@mcrosser: if he takes the battery out, of course it will turn off . what if he puts the battery again on, will the button stay off?

Yes, of course I tried taking the battery out.
And the light goes off
But when I put it back in, it lights up again.
Service center will make me send my phone away, and make me pay the equivalent of a new phone, since I'm out of warranty
Could it be a simple hardware problem that I can fix by opening the phone (when I get some time) |

I'm thinking it could be a problem somewhere with the kepad pcb inside the phone, has it gotten wet/damp at all? It could simply just need taking apart and all the internals/connectors given a good clean using something like a toothbrush to get any dust/dirt off contacts.
You can get replacement keypad PCBs on Ebay or cnn.cn, and are usually quite cheap.
Though it might be worth trying to update your firmware via SEUS first just in case it's a firmware issue, but from what you're describing it sounds like a hardware fault.
