w880i.
I run my own pop3 server. I just got WAP on my phone and everytime I try to get mail from the server I get a "server not found" error. I've tried putting in the IP# as well, but nothing.

Any ideas on what's causing this? I live in Saudi Arabia now.
3.5G Network.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Is it the incoming, outgoing or both it is having trouble with. Often for your outgoing (smtp) it needs a mobile network smtp not your own.

its the incoming (pop3) that has this problem, and its a problem thats been around since the first days I started trying to access pop3 server via wap

I've never really understood why wap is different from full internet access but I can say (from memory) that some people here have had some success using a DNS entry

It is incoming. I have no idea what the hell is wrong with this crap, I tried IP# and nothing. I called and cancelled my internet on my phone since the only real reason to have it was to get emails.

I'm not gonna browse the web on that thing.
Oh well...thanks for the help anyway guys t
