W900i "transfer mode" Problem ! plz HELP ! |

Hey i really need some help, see i've had my w900i for a while now and it connected to the computer just fine. but now i dont know what happened but when i connect the usb to the PC and w900i the w900i does not respond it doesnt give me the option to choose transfer mode or whatever it just does nothin. and so the computer does nothin too. WHEN i connect my friends w900i using the same USB and same PC it works just fine so its not the USB or Driver. my phone just doesnt respond.
I tried reseting the settings and resetting all but nothing works. SE support just gave up on me so... ANY SUGGESTIONS... I know the consumers are usually smarter than those techincal support people anyway.
Also when i turn the phone off and connect it to the computer and hold the "C" button it turns on and then immediatley it turns off and its just stuck in a continuing loop.

Try cleaning the fastport connectors, making sure there is not obstructions such as dust or grime.
