Problems saving backgrounds.... |

I have no problem loading backgrounds using WAP (I've been doing it with esato.com). I can get them to display on my phone no problem.
When I click on the options button, and try and save the background, that menu option is grayed out ?
WTF ?
I called AT&T and they were clueless. I've tried several different backgrounds in different sites and get the same thing. Seems to be something wrong with my phone.
Thanks, Shawn
Oh ya, it's a brand new AT&T T68i |

Dude, I have the same problem. I also have the t68i from at&t. I Can load the full size images, but can't save the damn things cause the "save picture" is greyed out. My has the t86m with cingular and he doesn't have any problems. This is really pissing me off. At least I'm not the only one with a f**ked up phone. |

yep, I'm pressing the "Option" button right under "yes." Maybe the problem has to do with the WAP settings. I've kinda been toying with it and still no change. Well, like I said before, I can view the background full size, but I can't highlight it so a box surrounds the image allowing me to save. |

I have the same problem you have. I checked with some other forums, and some people think that it is a sony/erricson software issue. I even got a new WAP profile sms'd to me, and it still doesn't work..... |

But a workaround is to save the background as a gif on your pc, then transfer it to the phone.
Saving backgrounds off of esato is a little tricky - I don't know why they set up the site this way. If you just try to save a logo it'll actually save a transparent 1x1 gif instead of the file you want. Anyway, once you've figured out which logo you want, open a new IE window and point it to www.esato.com/ul/c/1234.gif, where 1234 is the image number you want. Then you can right click and save it to your pc. |

I have had the problem with the x after downloading pictures. I beleive this is to do with the file being downloaded incorrectly or the file is corrupted while its on the internet. |
