Help! w810i dead? |

Hi guys , i was following a guide (http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=7330) to flash my w810i using Far Manager and XS++ and SEFP etc... After i finished my phone doesnt boot. (If i try to turn it on, it shows a white screen and shuts down. If i try to turn it on again after that nothing happens. If i refresh the battery and try again, i get the white screen once again)..
This is exactly what i did :

Flashed my phone to the 5 block dummy firmware from den_pos CID49 firmware pack (w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw 192 KB (197,631 bytes))
It did not complete flashing but im told it never does and to disconnect it after it reaches 100%
FAR
------
Went into C:Program FilesFarPluginsSEFP and patched SEFP to 0.10.0.51
Pressed F9(or F11 - cant remember)
Selected SEFP 0.10.0.51
Selected DCU-60, w300_w810_z550_cid49 and 921600
Pressed Enter the Matrix
I went into the /FS/ directory, and copied the whole of the settings folder into my c: drive (for backup). Then i went into the camera folder, deleted camdriver0.dat and put in 5.7_camdriver0.dat(From Sarmads 5.7 camdriver) - I did not rename it or anything, just put it.
Then i went into the acoustics folder and copied everything from Tosharas 1.7 acoustic pack..
Then i went back(...) until it asked to exit CSFS loader, pressed Yes

It wasn't showing the phone data properly, but i assume that is because of the dummy firmware
Flashed main with W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn(21.4 MB (22,507,488 bytes))
It completed properly and told me to disconnect my phone
I disconnected phone and closed XS++
I tried booting it, got the white screen
Refreshed battery, tried again - same thing
I connected phone to XS++ again, it still wasnt showing the phone data properly
Flashed main once again with same file..
Same thing happened...
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!Ahhhhhhhh!

Same thing happened with me. Flash ur fs and customize it by downloading both for ur FW. Follow the same guide from se-nse. All the best

I have a couple of questions ( SE-NSE is down so i cant access that):
I remember on sense someone told me id have to load a custom pack or something of that sort on my FS..
What if i dont want to customize anything like that on the FS,but i just want to load camera and acoustic drivers??
Also, could you give me a bit more detailied instructions on how to go about doing whatever i need to do - customizing the FS
Also, you said "Flash ur fs and customize it by downloading both for ur FW" - what do you mean by "downloading both for ur FW" ? - the custom FS pack and?

if u don't wanna fiddle with ur fs, then did u backup ur cam and acoustic drivers before replacing? If yes, then replace them with the original drivers!
If no, then wait for se-nse site to come up! otherwise do a google search. that might help! If this doesnot help, then you have no other option other than flashing your fs and customize it!!

Yea i did backup both my drivers ( actually i backed up my whole /settings dir ).
Anyways , after replacing them with the originals, how do i make sure that this doesnt happen again?? What did i do wrong? |
