Looks like Sony has decided to strengthen its presence in the PDA segment,

Have a look at this:

yep, that looks good alright. It makes sense to give over as much space as possible to the screen.

You have top laugh a this quote from the article: "The key addition to this new model is a touchscreen"

hmm.. don't SE already have a touchscreen in the P series?

Yes, a PDA's biggest plus is the gaint screen and morever this design looks rocking, hope it dosent end up like the P990i with all its flaws, I guess SE should keep getting Software upgrades for all its P Series, I really felt bad to read all the criticism about P990i, I still think its one of a kind phone......

Communities at large believe that it could come with WiFi connectivity, 3G network and possibly a 3 megapixel camera.

So they have rumours that are going to release the P3i with exactly the same specs as the P1i. I think someone has seen the specs for the P1i and then photoshopped their own pics.

they said that there will be a P-series with flip - as far as i see, the keypad is not a flip one, yet the design trend has become even farther from the traditional P-series with FO/FC mode

It's Fake imho

Where did you get that quote from, JC?? Supposed rumour is that it'll have 5mp.....

And Razec, you're spot on, that isn't a flip......

....not my picture, but much closer to current data:

Tada! One(quite possibly removable) flipkeypad, with D-Pad and softkeys and QWERTY......

Best design I've seen so far, anyway....

Yes, I have noticed that....could be shadow tho(and I'm not saying it's a perfect scale drawing, I didn't create it).....

.... but it's about the closest match to the data I have on P3, so far...

Hi all,

I thought the true P990 successor isn't going to be due till mid to late 2008 so it can take advantage of Symbian 9.5. I really hope it does come with an up to date spec and a more mature and stable OS.

M600 > P1
P990 > P3
So where is the P2?
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing.
