I've decided to update my K800i as I don't think my camera driver is up to spec. I've followed the instructions to the letter, Removed battery and replaced it. I then press and hold the "C" button, I continue to press and hold the button. I'm still holding the "C" button, My thumb is starting to ache though and the phone has come on. On the PC there are the options with what I want to do with the phone memory and the card memory, Ie. open folder etc... I closed them both, and continue to hold "C", and by this time my tumb is turning blue. Oh I forgot to mention, the flash driver dose find new hardware and install.
I've uninstalled SEUS and re-installed it, made sure my phone battery is 100%, tried pressing buttons 2 and 5 at the same time instead of C, please help...

Take the memory card out.Somewhere in the phones menu there is an option to turn of usb charging.Turn this off and try again.

I've turned off the USB charging with menu >*<<*<* and removed the memory card and still have the same results. I have tried an update using the phone internet connection, that says the phone is currently up to date. It's frustrating not being able to have the PC do it though.
Thanx for the advise.

I have another problem with the newest SEUS v 2.7.6.8-1_2 I have installed it on several computers but I can't run it! it says "Missing JVM" and "Could not locate java virtual machine" although I have the latest Java virtual machine (Java runtime 6 update 2)
even I have uninstalled java and replace it with Microsoft Java virtual machine but nothing changed. |

To avoid JVM problem - run the soft as Admin and in Win XP SP2 compatibility mode. Worked fine for me!

Right-click the shortcut, go to the Compatibility tab and tick 'Run as anadministrator' at the bottom.
