"but I’d choose more ram over processing speed for now. "

This I totally agree. Great read!

actually even though it uses an old CPU, the CPU is still fast, and with improved system software it's even faster than P990. so theres no harsh complains about it. and of course the bigger RAM is great! remember the P910 which uses the same 156Mhz CPu with P900/P800 but it manages applications to run simultaneously with a speed performance to match with S60s like Nokia 6630(which even have the 220Mhz CPU!)

Btw. great review mate, finally i've got a very credible review covering all the aspects to be a great smartphone. and it's funny that you used Nokia N-series slogan on your lovely P1 review!

Just to add to the review..
I added music to the phone that I ripped using Musicmatch and the album art comes up automatically on the P1i !!
I haven't seen any proof of tomorrow all day!

Thanks for that review, a good read and very informative! I've just ordered my P1i, should be coming tomorrow hopefully, and after reading that I'm even more excited by it! I'm still not 100% sure about the keyboard as I've only ever had a phone with a number pad, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Roll on tomorrow, and well done for a great review!

Same here, just got my 4gb m2 from Amazon, loaded up my P1 with tons of music, podcasts and Audible audio books, used with my SE DS970 bluetooth stereo headset. The entire package is just extremely stable and reliable, very happy with it.
