having trouble with custom ringtunes on Sony Ericsson K790 |

I cant seem to get custom ringtunes on my k790, it doesnt seem to like using mp3 format for ringtunes, but it wont tell me why.
any suggestions for file converters/ filetypes i should use? |

Somenet work providers don't allow mp3 ringtones... What network are you on? Voda normally don't... I'm sure there maybe one or two others aswell?

maybe he's on rogers or some kind on network like that

yeah im with rogers, and i downloaded DRM Packager,
i tried it, and i cant set the .dm file as my ringtune.
I'm not sure what you mean by the root directory, and im using the USB cable.
please help!

ok i got it,
i was putting the .dm file into the wrong place on the phone (couldnt figure out what the root directory was), and also i wasn't putting the phone in 'phone mode' when i plugged it into the computer.
