Ok they've replied again, and they're going to replace the phone... and I think i'm pushing my luck here, but I've asked if they could send me a different model... maybe a K810? |

i think it may be the o2 firmware which is buggy..my bro got a silver one from them which kepped turning itself off when you press the back arrow button a few times repeatedly..it was then replaced with his current black one which keeps turning itself off when you tap it ever so slightly or knock it...
I've offered to debrand for him see if that solves it but hes not too keen on the idea

My phone [black version, unbranded] used to switches off mysteriously by itself [found out to be due to the flash theme] and when the headphone is removed. I have updated the firmware to the latest and now it is much better. no self-poweroff and no poweroff due to headphone removal [though I do not use it so often]. It powered off only once when it fell from a height of 50cm. |

Ok, so my new phone came today, it all seems to be working fine, but the clock seems huge, I know you have an option to have it big or small and I always have it on big, but this time big seems massive. Ah well it works... thats the main thing. |

My old k800 had this problem. It went off for 10-15 seconds while removing headphones/data cable. Never thought anything of it lol.
Im not fussed about phones/gadgets no more. If im online im in the Non-Mobile discussion |

This wasnt temporarily turning off, it was permanent, and very annoying because you'd just put it in your pocket, forget about it, take it out of your pocket an hour later and it would be off. |

Ah ha... and I've solved the 'larger-than-normal clock (problem)' changed it from 24 hour to 12 hour... now its perfect. |
