Operation Failed - K800i - What can I do? |

There are at least ten discussions on this topic, and I am sure many of you are aware of this problem. I really need someone that has FIXED this problem to give me some advice. I have tried many of the suggestions to no avail; I would love for someone that has actually got something to work, to help me.
Here are some more details to get you started:
Phone Model: K800i
Time of error: Upon opening "Applications" or "Games" folders.
Software: R1JG001
If you need anymore information, please let me know.
P.S I would send my phone to a service center, but I now live in the U.S and Sony U.S.A will only take a look at it if it comes with a $100 payment. No thanks!

hi
you need to upgrade your firmware and erom via wotan.
this is an issue that many people have had before.

if it is stored at the memory stick., remove and insert the memory stick., if problem still occur update your phone's firmware.
i glad that sony here in the philippines gave me 1yr warranty on parts and services world wide

Thanks for the speedy reply. Does this work for sure? If so, could you instruct me a little as to how to do that? I have my cable here and don't mind spending some money to get it done, but the less expensive it is, the better.
What's the difference between the Wotan update and the SE firmware update?

Ok I did it, and it works. So if you have had this problem; buy a Wotan credit and fix it. It stopped working last November, so I am glad it's finally working again. |
