Hi!

I´m getting tierd of waiting for SE to release new models, especially the t68 successor. Now I´m thinking of buying the Panasonic GD87 insted. I find it hard to believe that SE will release a phone that beats the GD87, atleast when it comes to the screen. The only thing missing according to me, is BT, and it would have been nice if the camera supported higher resolution. But I guess u could live without it. What du u think, will the T68 successor exceed the GD87?

Erm.... yep!

Look how old the t68 is and it's still rockin near the top of the stack!

I doubt the gd87 is that much better than the t68 anyways not worth the upgrade

I agree with you, it´s a great phone. But, when it comes to the screen it´s pretty useless if u wanna use it to send pics via MMS.

GD87 looks good but doesn't have Java (and Bluetooth as you say).

I have heard that the resolution of the camera is very low as well (less than the MCA-25) even though the screen is good.

I have been having the same thoughts as well - what to replace my T68 with. I normally change phones once a year, but to be honest there is nothing around that competes with the T68 on functionality/size at the moment.

I am considering the new nokia 7250 (if it comes out in Q1 as promised), but I am looking forward to seeing the P800 in the flesh. It is an amazing phone but may be a little too big for everyday use, although most people say it smaller than they thought.

I certainly don't think that there is currently any phone that is really a replacement for the T68 - you either lose functionality or gain in size.

Yes the cam. resolution is pretty low, but as long as u send the pics as MMS mess. it wont matter as the resolution of the pics fits the res of the screen. And, as a lot of communicam users has pointed out, the higher resolution of the mca-20 cant replace a "normal" digicam anyway.
