Hi, welcome to Esato. W850i has Java-based platform of Sony Ericsson proprietary operating system. It's not Symbian, Windows nor Linux. |

thnx...buddy..where can i get ne new mediaplayers compatible with this java based thing?
the default player only plays 3gp files...i wan install somethin tht plays ne format -vdo n audio.

W850i supports MP3, MP4, AAC, WMA, 3gp, and WAV. What other formats do you wish W850i could play? I don't think you can install new media players on it. It's not available anywhere at the moment. Just enjoy your W850i as it is. There are a lot of audio video converters out there that can convert files to be compatible with W850i. |
