Hey guys is there any one who is Far Manager expert?
iv been using it.... and got quite afew thngs done with it like:
Video quality beter (beter thn 2MP)
Silent mood always ON (when taking pics)
SMS storage limit Gone (more then 40,000 sms)
Menu -> Messaging -> Wireless Village (new service)
Operator logo Gone (from the standby)
PlayNow replaced with Operator WebPage (vodafone website)
Deleted some of the protected files, which i dont use
but now i REALY wana change my Manu to Flash Manu....and for that i need to copy some file (which i got them) bt i cant copy the file into the FarManager - drag-n-drop isnt working nether Copy-n-Paste...
i dono y...does anyone.....?

hi
the  800 does not support flash menus  , so stop trying it. now, i think that you mean animated menus.

tranced i`m sorry to say this but you are an idiot.
because w800i dose suport flash menus adny yes it is caled flash menus Not animated menus.
So majed lets get started: a flash menu is made up of 2 files : one is a .thm and the oder is an swf . you need yo put the thm normali in your themes folder ( just by yousing your usb cable or bloothot ... you know whit the phone turnd on ) and the oder file , the swf you need to pun it in the phone yousing far manager.
the direcrory is tps/preset/system/desktop/flash ( thats were you put the swf files )
I allsow read that you dont know how to copy files...Its easy...
there are 2 sides in the far manager... you are yousin the one on the left to exes your phone files . adn you can youse the one on the right to exes your PC s foles ex: for desctop go bac a cople of times and go  ocument and settings/( user )/desktop.
so in you have the .swf file on your desktop just click and drag it from the right side to the left ( in the directori I specified arlier).

@Majed: Mate, tranced is right about the flash themes. The W800 does not support them. And about the one with the older firmware... I never saw anyone to report on the forums that he did it...

i bet majed changed the original camdriver and got another one. about the wireless village....i dont know. the operator logo can be removed by changig the layout.xml file.

Thanks tranced I finaly gor rid of my operator logo , but I have no idear wich camdricer did he put on his phone cas I chust changed mine 2 weeks ago , I upgaded it to 8.54 .
But the video quality or size remaind the same 
I`m wonderin iff I can somehow rewrite the candriver0.dat file but I have no idear whit wat to open .dat ( |

you will have always the same size. the resolution does not change but the quality

How to remove the operatorlogo
It's possible to remove the operatorlogo with Far Manager. It could be done modifying the file tpa/system/layout/layout.xml. Just remove the following out of the object "StatusIndication":
After this changing the operatorlogo is dissapeared for ever!

You can expand your SMS Memory:
1. Browse to the folder /ifs/settings/messaging/ with FAR Manager
2. select pref_store.txt an hit F4
3. Just change "/smsdata" in "/tpa"
4. Save the changes
5. go back to "root" like mb-new description and shutdown the loader
6. Now restart your Phone and be happy
set ring volume as player volume
Copy file farfield_play.apf to any folder of PC, rename it to farfield_ring.apf and copy back. So file farfield_ring.apf in phone is replaced by file with settings of farfield_play.apf.
Now we have 2 same files but different names.
killing camera sound
go to FS/tpa/preset/system/sound and delete file camerashutter.3gp and for killing autofocus sound delete file camerafocus.3gp.
killing MobilePrint (for k750i)
go to FS/tpa/preset/system/ams and delete MOBILEPRINT.jad and MOBILEPRINT.jar and have additional 361kb free memory. Unnecessary standard games & midlets are in FS/tpa/preset/default/java and to be deleted if you wish. In FS/tpa/preset/wizard you can delete 5 biggest by size GIF files.
Change default sms sounds
FS/tpa/preset/system/sound
delete message alert and put new one but with same name (messagealert1,messagealert2....)
get rid of discharge battery sound
go to FStpapresetsystemsoundlowbattery.mid and replace it the same name file with zero size.
Shutdown Sound
navigate to /fs/tpa/preset/system/settings
place any mp3 in there and rename to SHUTDOWN_SOUND_SEMC.mp3 and it will play it when you shut down the phone.
Change your menu layout (K750/W800)

Edit the driver.
Change the video recording to:
VR_NORMAL_MODE_FR=44;

- Patch (no patch name here, just the function)
- Patch whitelist to blacklist for receive calls (all listed number will get rejected)
- Bluetooth file transfer accept without prompt (good if need to transfer many files at one time)
- Changes video icon according to filename extension
- No setup wizard when change sim
- Fast long filename scrolling
- Improved file and folder name, before only 20, now can use up to 128 character (version 2)
- No silent indicator when goes to silent mode
- Radio can be on without handsfree (the radio very weaks but sometime it works perfectly)
- Reduce screen illumination to 20% instead of 50% (when choose 50% - keypad light is off)
- Vibrate when someone pick-up your call
- No more loud volume warning when choose level 6 - 8 ringtones volume
- Short showing indicator volume
- Put playlist in card/MP3/playlist/
- Remove java security restrictions
- Can take photo when java is started in a background
- Replace all icon in file manager
- Select last profile to disable the phone's transmit and receive RF circuits, select any other to enable (only when phone already on)
- Change font in sms, notes, date, phone status and time(standby mode) to small

@majed: i've done many things that you've posted. i've changed the camdriver, the acoustic, i have no operator logo, i've changed the menu icons, increased the messaging capacity.
@alexandra: those menus wont work on a k800 cuz they are for k750/w800 and, if im not mistaken, for w700 and w800 also. these phones have almost the same menu.
