hi there...

my wife has updated her k800 to a k810i - i have synched the phone no problems, but was wondering if there are any progs out there that allow you to transfer the text messages from one phone to another?

Um.... Just forward the sms to the other phone....

you mean re-send them?

thats not what i mean - like all the individual messages from different people - can she transfer them from one phone to another?

Heres a little diagram i spose:

friend sends the message to ur wife--->she recieves message and reads it
--->Message goes to here inbox--->go to inbox--->press more--->forward--->then forward to the other phone. If u want edit the message to make a note of who it was from.

if im not mistake, My Phone Explorer lets you download the sms's to your computer and then upload it to the phone.

myphoneexplorer works for me. it let you copy or I'd say "backup" the content of your phone to the computer and it'll let you transfer whatever you backed up, back to the phone (from the computer).
