My t68 gone nuts and SE people told me they can't do anything. I've been using it for over a year and want to buy something new, but what? Brick Nokia and P800 are too expensive for me. What else? T300? Nokia 7210?

StanG: Im more willing to help you find a solution to your t68 problem than to look for a new phone to replace it because there isn't any phone out there yet that can match all the features & versatility (not to mention all of it is packed in a very small & light form) of a t68.

So allow the people here to help you with your t68 problem and you can save yourself the trouble of looking for a new phone and of course the hard earned cash your about to spend

Transmitter/Reciever module malfunctioning - it doesn't recognize network signals and the phone is in a perpetual "Searching for network" mode. The module is on the mainboard and SE stuff don't dare to mess with it - only replace the board for measly 400 USD.

Comparing to t68, t300 would give me downloadable games, polyphonic ringtones, and camera will be included (I never had one), . My wife would never let me buy Bluetooth, so it's meaningless for me, but I would certainly miss voice dialing. Anything else is lacking in t300? I am not sure about IR - not obvious from SE website.

Well, Jowi, the features of my t68 are such that I can't use it. I DO need to buy a new phone. I am tempted by t300. How easy is it to download games, are there any ringtones to download? Seems all the new phones have these two features that t68 doesn't. Motorola, Nokia, Siemens, Alcatel, you name it.

Check out the Siemens SL55 It's tri-band, small, color screen and has BLUETOOTH

It'll definitely be much cheaper than the P800..

Screen too small, don't think there's memory expansion, no touchscreen, don't think its features can compete with P800........its a alternative to 7650 !!!!!! P800 still the king !!!!

You probably mean the Siemens S55 which should come out soon and appears to be respectable. I owned the 7210 for 10 days then got rid of it. Only the screen was somewhat better than that of the T68 and its poly sounds. Both these features were much worse than on Samsung phones. Not to mention the fear I had that the 7210 might break dowh at any minute. Featurewise it was poor compared to the SE, and more caring about creating revenue for the networks than saving its owner money when it came to customization
