Just trying to explain the scenario here again
I was going to my phonebook on the phone. I was going to search for my "precious" numbers, which is not labelled A-Z, but it starts with a dollar sign, so i usually press button 1, which will go to the end of the list. But this time, the phone sorta shuts off, but its not really shut off. But it sometime shows clear white screen, and than blank screen, whenever i press something, it goes white screen again. Having no options left, i took the batteries out and than i re-insert it.
I could start it with no problem, and i wanted to call my friend still, so i tried it again. Same results, shuts off, so i removed the battery again. So i thought, well maybe some software problem, so i tried scrolling to the name the next time around, and again it gives me the same problem. So i decided to start the phone, and than use the formal way to shut the phone down, but this time, i could not start the phone again.
Whenever i hold on the start button on top of the phone, the signal light on top, will beep red. When i want to charge my phone, the signal light on top beeps red. Usually it beeps green when in normal operation, and red when downloads and transfers of data is commencing | |

Upgrade the erom:
The battery must be charged
1. download wotan client http://www.wotanserver.com/WotanClient.exe
2. clear the login details and start wotanclient and then press start
3. hold 2 and 5 on your phone. if you havent installed usb flash drivers install it http://www.wotanserver.com/USBFlashDriver.exe
4. it will now upgrade your erom
5. Done

Batteries are full....is it the erom itself? I heard that this step might cause the phone to die off forever..i think....i thought it was just a pure software collusion against me. So its just that steps above? is there a detailed explanation in using that client on my phone, i can't switch on my phone..at all

I can't change the phone model, it says Connect Your Phone, pressing "C"
I did like you said
I downloaded it, i cleared login details, i plugged in the cable to the phone, (i saw the blinking LED's again), i pressed 2,5, than i pressed start...i also have the driver downloaded..am i missing something?
how do i know that the computer is connected to the phone

Since i am a new member, i wont be able to post more than 3 messages on the first day, so i m just going to do editing of the post here.
I pressed the 2,5 button when i connect the cable, it says uSB flash driver detected.
Than a found new hardware pop-ups, i dont have any CD or anything, so i can't do anything. I pressed cancel, than nothing happens again....WotanClient 1.0 still shows connecting your phone, pressing "C"....waiting...

I still can't get it to work, it doesn't install it into my handphone at all |

I got this handphone working now, i changed computers to upgrade it..thanks alot mate!!
But the software problem still occurs, whenever i scroll down to the bottom list of the name, the WSOD still blinks out...any reasoning for that? |
