I live in the US. I have a t68m right now but i was thinking of upgradeing to t68i. Is it worth it ? or should I just wait for the p800? It would only cost me $250 to get an unlocked t68i. |

Just wait for the P800. By the way, i'm going there next year. I'm probably bringing my N7650 with me. How do i get it to work there? Do i have to bring my T68i triband phone? I wont be using my network here in the phils bcoz roaming charges will be expensive. How do i get it activated aside from buying another sim card? Thanx

If the t68i is unlocked just pick up a prepaid sims card and trade it out with the one you have now. This should allow you to make the calls cheap. |

First off theres no sense in getting a T68i. Just upgrade your FW on the T68m to an I FW. I did and it works great. You will have the same phone once you upgrade the FW, only thing is it will look different on the outside.
As far as buying a T68i for 250. I would go to bestbuy and pick one up there you can get it for 150 no contract and locked to ATT. get it unlocked and your in business.
They had a similiar sale about a month ago and I picked up 2 T68i's for 100 each with no activation locked to AT&T and had them unlocked and they worked great. Thats my advice to you.
Also my next phone will either be the P800 or a MS smartphone as soon as one is offically launched here in the U.S.. But I am pretty hooked on the P800 so we will see. GL. |

Yeah both of my phones are unlocked. So its okay if i just buy a prepaid sim card there in the US and use it with my 7650? Being a dual band phone wont matter?

As far as I know you can't use the 7650 in the US. It doesn't support GSM 1900 which is what we use here. I am pretty sure about that.

Thanx for the info. I'll bring my T68i then. Too bad it has less games and apps for me to play with for the 18hour flight

I like the SPV I would prolly get it for free if I had that chance. The P800 is a bit nicer but I don't know if it's nice enough to justify the price difference. I think the SPV is a hell of a phone especially for free.

With my Panther ear-piece I have a new-found love for my T68. Now I don't want to let it go when getting the P800. What a great phone this is/has been! |
