My phone hangs up for about 15 seconds after sending an SMS. From what i know this is a common bug in S60 3rd edition nokias. This didnt happen when my phone was new but now the problem is persistent. Whats the reason behind this and can it be resolved?

..."hangs up"? You mean "hangs"/"freezes"? Have you installed nokia's sms-accelerator? i read in another thread that you store LOADS of messages on your phone - where? And why? Move stored messages to your card, and remove the card to see if that helps but first install the "accelerator"; if you don't have it yet, get it at nokia.com)

Ok, i did a master reset and now it no longer freezes, yet.
