anyone knows how to tell if a p800 is pre-production model? maybe the serial or sth?

There are several Pre-production models. The earlier ones have no MS Duo slot. The later ones are harder to tell but they normally have a lock code in the startup screen and they have certain ID numbers on a sticker behind the battery, right near the sim card slot. It's best to check the ID number with a Sony Ericsson (real) associate. Other than that, I don't think there is any other way to tell. The Pre-commercial models (the ones selling through the Metrowerks SDKs) are non-serialized. That's about all I know. The full commercial models will have real associated IMEI numbers on the stickers and have the latest version of firmware.

if it says made in sweden you have one of the first P800. when it says france you've got a recent one.
