I have tried Zedge, Mobile9 etc, all the usual but cant find any good ones

come on ppl, is there any really good sites....I like brand themes and abstract themes, preferably animated but i cant find a single one :S
i would mak emy own but i am no good at designing from the base and would need something to work from but as you cant break down theme .sis files or open with the theme creator I seem to be stuck

Hi A3LX,
Not sure what you mean by animated but if i think you mean constantly moving that really isn't such a good idea as it will kill your battery fast and you will need to find a theme written in Flash.
Although i have a reasonable selection of themes i find myself always returning to Pearl Black by Iceman5 as i just find it so good and it doesn't suffer any of the problems of other themes where you can't see the text you are trying to enter.

try pearl fire black thats nice, i have got some i will email you if you like, that are nice...and no by animated i mean a gif wallpaper like most phones?

Ed of http://www.e-series.org has a nice collection of S60 3rd ed themes. Most are for the E61/62/61i but render really well on the N95 too. |

Hi A3LX,
Thanks Pearl Black Fire is by the same person and just a bit too fussy for my liking as i said i have loads of themes but find i always end up going back to Pearl Black just my preference really. I have this theme on both of my devices now although i still have others saved to my Laptop it is defiantly my favourite.

Hi all,
I have just discovered something quite interesting i was trying out the iPhone dream theme and suddenly noticed i was experiencing a few sporadic problems such as opening up the N95 in landscape mode and it freezing.
Also my Ram seemed to be greatly reduced as well on returning to one of the preinstalled Nokia themes all is back to normal. Now i am not saying all themes may be causing problems but it may be that some are anyone else experiencing any problems try one of the preinstalled themes instead and see if that makes a difference.
It will be interesting to see the results I have also noticed that some that have problems also seem to be the people who install all apps on the memory card not in the phones memory could this also be the cause of why some have problems whilst others don't running the same Firmware and selection of apps.

i installed Psilocs reflect theme and bought a license code, it installed like an app tho for some reason...anyway i tried to enter the license code and it said the server for egistration was down so i thought ill try later....anyway upon the next switch on of the phone it took over a minute to start and the backlight went out before it even got to the nokia handshake animation thing...and i wondered why but after uninstalling that theme its fine.
so may sell this license code if anyone wants it? although i dont recommend the theme if you care about speed
