K810 dead after 2 weeks |

Got my K810i from hongkong two weeks ago, worked perfectly til 2 days ago... It was a rainy day, and I put it in my pocket like always (didn't get wet or anything)
When I took it out to use it, its turned off, but its quite hot to the touch. It won't turn on, so I took the battery out for about 10 minutes, and afterward it turned on like normal, though its still hot to the touch and it said battery low (not supposed to be)
Went home and charged it, afterward I took it out and an hour later I got a call (1 minute call), and after the call suddenly the phone said "Battery Low" and shuts down (although I just charged it!)
Afterward it won't turn on, even when plugged into the charger. There's a red light on the bottom right side of the phone when I try charging, not sure if it had that before. USB charging doesn't work (no red light either), I assume this is because the phone isn't on and thus not recognized by the USB drive.
I don't live in HK so I can't just exchange it at the store, and the warranty only works in HK apparently =/ I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on how to fix this, is it the battery problem? can I just buy a new battery and solve it? The thing is I read something like this (for other SE phone model) and it seems like the phone is the one thats screwed up, and putting different battery in just destroys that battery... But i'm not sure
My option right now is to either buy a new battery and try it out, or to mail it to HK (if i can ever manage to contact them, since they won't pick up the phone and just told me to leave a number)
Can I reset the phone/update firmware if the phone won't turn on?
Thanks for reading and hopefully someone can come up with something >_< |

if you can get hold of a spare battery that would be great, but if you are gonna buy a new one... then you might as well bring that unit back to your supplier..
its a bad production unit. its all part of a fruitful bunch, some are rotten.
