FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Deutsche Telekom's (DTEGn.DE) mobile phone unit T-Mobile clinched a deal to bring Apple Inc's iPhone handset to Germany, according to a report in a German daily.
Without citing sources Rheinische Post said in a preview of a story to be published on Wednesday that T-Mobile is expected to sell the iPhone exclusively with a T-Mobile contract for around 450 euros ($612) starting Nov 1.

...the price is actually just a guess - i.e. They converted the 600 dollar to euro - the german clearly states "no indication as to the price yet!"
seems t-mobile added some cash last minute to beat vodafone us sly germans

Hi all,
Well to be honest i would now be very surprised if T-Mobile don't get in the UK as they have one of the best Data packages around and a November launch would be great as i am due an upgrade in December even if i only sell it on it would nice.

TMo UK would be the best bet.
That earlier post about TMo, Voda and CPW might just figure.
If so, then Voda might snap it up after all. (Booooooo Hisssssss! )

I for one hope T-Mobile get it. They are the only opperator to currently offer any sort of decent data tarrif in the UK - which is going to be essential with the iphone.

Voda's boun't to get it followed by 02..
0range and T-Mobile will have to wait abit,
but with this phone being sought after it's a case of "Who dare wins"

If Apple recognise that t-mobile is THE data friendly operator then they would be absolutely stupid not too hand it to them. They have had Web n Walk for a long time now and really shook up the industry when it was announced.
Voda might be better for calling plans but the iPhone demands better web deals.
