Hey guys,
It's been a while since I sold anything on here, however, I've got an N95 I'm looking to sell, so thought I'd see if there is any interest. It's going to be posted on eBay this evening, so I will post pictures and the listing later on.
I got the N95 as an upgrade through orange, it's BRAND NEW. (Having got it in the post this morning). The security seal is still on, and the phone hasn't been touched. I am going to assume it's locked to Orange at the moment, however, I've been told unlocking an N95 is fairly straightforward.
Taking that all into account, I'm looking for £275. Plus £10 P+P (Royal mail special delivery.).
Any questions, feel free to ask.
Cheers,
Daz.

The phone has not been touched. However, I must also assume that this phone is locked to Orange. Most phone shops can unlock the phone for you, as can many online retailers. (The process is fairly straght forward, and normally costs around £10-20).

I love it when people just make assumptions that a phone can be unlocked easily.
There are only 2 ways a Orange N95 can be unlocked .. a code from Orange themselves or sending it to the makers of MT unlocking box which is well expensive.
Personally I wouldn't leave that on the auction, you are asking for a negative feedback if the buyer tries to get it unlocked.
Just a thought ....

Mike, is that true? I'm quite sure I've seen people offering N95 unlocking, and flashing for that matter.. I'll look into it now before I pull the info. Thanks for pointing it out though. (I wouldn't have put it up if I didn't think it was the case.)
Dave, Just cash I'm afraid. Not looking for anything else, unless you have a P1 lying around..?
Cheers,
Daz.

Flashing the phone is easy enough .. unlocking is impossible apart from those 2 methods.

Hmmm, ok, after a quick look, it seems one can get an Orange PAYG sim card, and use that to unlock it, top up £20, and they charge £20 to give you the code. (Apparently.). Any truth in that?
I've also seen reports of people recieving their Orange phone already unlocked, it might be an idea for me to remove the seal then and check!!
Cheers,
Daz.

Thinking about it, I don't really want to break the seal. If I was buying a Brand new phone, I think I'd want it Brand new... Plus, if one can just unlock it for £20 with the method above, I don't see a problem.
Cheers,
Daz.
