Ok, Ive had it one day and this is what I think so far:
1) Its a lot smaller than I thought it would be, it looks a lot better than the 7650.
2) The OS seems stable, I have used every application many times (except MMS and web browser), and No crashes. Sometimes it slows up a bit.
3) Its very easy to use, and anyone who uses a T68 will be on familiar ground
4) Things I dont like so far, you cant set it up for delivery notification on SMS, but you can on MMS. I miss the clock screen saver from the T68. On the P800 it goes to the SE animated logo for a while then the screen goes off.
5) Mem stick Duo is great, reads and writes in my PC fine.
6) Bottom connector is indentical to the T68. |

Just like previous SE phones I am sure they will offer their OS in several different languages. |

But on the other hand I think it's better to make a great and stable phone, than to rush it out to the market. I have the highest respect for SE to have the guts to perfect the phone before releasing it.
They rushed out the T68, but I think they have learned something from that. Other manufacturers should really take after that.. |

I've tried the P800 for about 30minutes. And it is simply amazing. It's a great phone. The screen is very good, bright with nice colors. (4096 colors TFT).
After I tried it, I want a P800, that's for sure. |

Dont worry if you can`t set it up for sms delivery reports, there is a code to start the text with *0# or RCT on Orange in UK, ask your provider for it. strangely enough Orange sims now have an automatic delivery conformation on sms, just started happening,.....anyway lots of people want to know if the p800 has t9 on the KEYPAD entry of text. |
