Can anyone help me with 3UK browser settings for my W880i. Some people suggest downloading the settings for a K800, have tried that but it does not work.
It is all strange because when im outside 3G coverage i can view the services page which tells me in outside the coverage area. As soon as i move into a 3G area coverage it tells me that my settings are incorrect.
All suggestions welcome!!!

Hi, I am having the same problem as this. I have tried settings downloaded from SE website and manually input settings. The settings work the first time I connect, but I get a communications error on subsequent attempts. The only way to connect again in a 3g area is to restart the phone or delete and re-enter the settings again.
Using the same 3 sim (with the same settings) in an unlocked M600i, I am able to use 3 mobile internet without any problems, so it seems this is specific to w880i and 3 UK.
Anyone got any experience with this and hopefully a solution? |

Problem solved.
On the phone there is a Data Account called 3 Locked that can't be edited. Rather than get the settings from SE, I create a new Internet Profile that uses this and changed the homepage address to http://mobile.three.co.uk/hb/W850i/HutchKey and this worked. I also had to set the Streaming settings to use 3 Locked for the 3 mobile tv to work.
Hope this helps someone else.
