Hi guys,

Ive just bought a Samsung D900 that i saw working with an O2 sim card in but when ive got home and put a different O2 sim in it, it is asking for a "Sim Lock" Code.

Reading the manual it says:
"The Sim Lock feature allows your phone to work only with the current sim by assigning a sim lock code. You must enter the sim lock code to use a different sim"

Do i assume that this code should be some generic code as in 1234 or will it be something set by the previous owner and either way is there a way round it?

Cheers

I suspect it will be something set by the previous owner, so try emailing/contacting them for this code.

In the meantime, try '00000000' (8 zeros), as this is the default code for samsungs.

After doing a bit of research, apparently Samsungs default Sim Lock code is 1210
