t68 contacts disappeared |

Im using t68 upgraded to t68i. I copied all my contacts from sim to phone. Ive been using the same configuration and been swapping sims and everything worked perfect.
Just today when I swapped my sims, most of my contacts disappeared. They seems to be there because there's a slot when i do "Find" and just browse, but when I select the contact and "Edit", their name is gone and I see "0000*010?49" on all their numbers. I don't have an updated back up on my sim and I don't know if I could still get them back.
Any idea what happened and what to do? |

try using your sim in another phone and check your contacts if they're still there. then i suggest you back them up and do a master reset on your T68. after that copy the contacts again to your T68. hope this helps.

Try putting that sim into another phone (maybe a Nokia with sim to phone & phone to sim copy option like a 8*** series) to see if the entries come up, then you can reinstate them on sim & copy back from sim to phone on t68i........way back last year my t68 lost all the contacts in phone memory when i sim swopped but i continued to sim swop and to this day it never happened again...I use a pc as backup,but before that i used a Nokia 8210 as a contacts backup (in the "phone" memory) this is a wise thing to do as you can use the "send all" feature on the t68 via ir port to sync all your contacts with the backup phone. ( sorry if you know all this) |
