*As far as i have heard all Se are bringing out, worth while is the P800 , why arent they bringing out any new phones to compete, with all the new phones all the other competitors are bringing out.

*It dont make sense to me they are moaning about making a loss, but it takes them so long to bring phones out what do they expect when people are forced to go else where.

*Originally i had seen they Nokia 7650 and thought naa its bit bulky ill wait for the P800 , as the T68i i had was great, but i just dont know with them whats happening, with all there delays, it could be March next year before i finally get my hand on one, so i just bought a Nokia 7650 which i am very please with and return to being a nokia customer.

what do all you guys feel about this?

I dont give a shite what any of them does.
I dont have a new phone each year so i'm just waiting for the next lot of phones to be put on the table where i can see them and then take my pick.
Why do ppl buy a phone and ££££s worth of accessories just to buy another phone with ££££s worth of accessories 12 months later.

I'm well happy with my t68i and talking to you lot makes it 100 times a better phone.
Thankyou ESATO for making this happen

I agree with boyi. Why do we need to change a phone every year. Expecially if you buy a high-end phone, then it means that it is going to last longer being competitive comparing with the average phone.
Personally I have a T68mi for 13 months now, and I can't find a reason why I should replace it now.

Why do you not give a shit you buy there product dont you, and if you didnt give a shit you would have read my post !!!!

i replace my phone often firstly because it an option at the end of your 12 period you get an option to upgrade so why not seems stupid not to, secondly phones become less reliable with age.

The T68i is still a good contender...it is number one seller in most places. However, for the good of SE they should have a replacement once the T68i is falling.

For the high-end-power user they have the P800.

For the low-end-simple user the T100 is now available on the market.

I assume that something similar to the recently released T608 for the CDMA market will replace the T68i in the GSM market.

There is not much you can improve on the T68i except for the screen.

Until I get my P800 I am very happy with my T68.

@swazi Maybe it's my age, but, most of you seem to get overexcited at the prospect of new phones coming out,(i'm not saying i dont)but,i mean come on,my t68i will probably do me till 3G is in full swing but i'm only 4 months into my contract and at the moment i'm thinking, well,in 8 months time i'll be able to get the Orange SPV for free on a new contract or at a small price on an upgrade(depends on whats on offer at the time) so i agree with a new phone per year but i did mention £££s worth of accessories.

Wait a minute. The T608 is for the CDMA market and has nothing to do with the T68 in the GSM market. What are you talking about?

Option after my 12th period? Umm? If you mean it's an option with your contract, sure, but not for people that spend a hundred times more than you to buy the phone SIM free and unlocked. Secondly, a one year old phone doesn't exactly make it less reliable than a new phone. Even so, the new released phones now have been very disappointing anyways.

@hyperken,

If you wanna surf, use a computer.
for me, the internet capabilities of the GPRS-enabled phones are just for emergency use like when you really have to check your email and you don't have a PC with you at the moment. Why would you want to surf at 256 colors and 101x80 resolution when you can go full 32-bit color at 1280x1024?

just my 2c worth.

It just cost me a 180$ over my t68i to get a used 7650. I think by the time the p800 hit the market there will be a much better phones...

it sad that some are goin to other phone manufacturers but it has to be accepted. they cant wait for something that is just taking too long... get your act together SE... or you may find yourself in the cellar of the sales game.

What worries me is that as a small child i noticed that "looking forward to exiting things" was often better than the event itself, that p800 is going to need a device that sucks your dick,or it`s just going to suck. no gadget is worth wishing your life away for....now if i could JUST SLEEP until it hits the market......
