Is it something wrong with my phone (nokia 6610) or is this the way it should be?

When I download ringtones (poly) too my phone with gprs, and save them in the folder name "Tones". I can use them as my ringtone. But you can't reach them in the list of sms-tones. or in the list on caller groups. So on this two things you can just choose from nokia tune ++++..Weird!

Then you must have an access to the 6610/7210 internal specification, where it says that you can assing your own ringingtone to the callergroups...

I bought my Nokia 6610 last week (Norway). And it's a great phone. Better looking than my last Nokia 7210, I think..

In case you do not already know, Nokia has released a software update for the N6100 (ver4.01), N7210 and probably for the N6610 as well, which allows downloaded ringtones in the Gallery to be assigned to Caller Groups as well as to your SMS alert.
