trying to get email working on my k610i |

Im trying to get email working on my song ericsson k610i but im having some problems
at work we have our own mail server thats running mdaemon
say for example its mail.blah.com.au
in the phone under messaging > email > settings > new account >
account name - email
connect using - mobile internet (is that right? other option is planet3)
email address- myemail
connection type - imap4
incomming server - mail.blah.com.au
username - myusername
password - mypass
out going server - mail.blah.com.au
but it never connects
is it something to do with out mail server setting?
or do i have to setup a new gprs data thing?

think you need to have internet gprs act... and have a read of the email config threads here...

i would actually go to the s.e website and download the email settings straight from the website and they will send it to your mobile phone. |
