it seems that when posting from a phone ext that sometimes many new topics are created which are exactly the same

its not a problem, its an impatient user pressing submit multiple times
btw... 5 minutes before you posted this thread I already cleaned the multiple threads you linked to.

why? it happens so infreqently these days, and mostly from wap users who are few and far between
I'm happy just to delete the duplicate threads. Its a much nicer way to deal with it
