I dont know if you already know this but i recently discovered....while playing music...try to hold the volume (low button plays the music next to the song currently playing and vise versa).... [addsig]

yeah, this is normal in many phones with volume side keys. it's different with 300 you have to press vol-/+ one and then press and hold again.

Any other tricks?

I know you can minimise the player by pressing the back button while a song is playing.

When the player is active on the screen, they should really make use of the keypad buttons as shortcuts like they do on the Cyber-shot phones K810i and K850i.

Try the top row of number keys......

....although, on DB2020 phones, it's now the middle row.......

Branding irrelevant, BTW.....T650i does it.....

i just realize in my K800, that
using 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8 can act as D-Pad instead of crappy joystick..
at least when i fast forward a song it'd be much better...
havn't try this on walkman 1 and 2 phones though...
but i think all should be the same....

i have a w810. while in the walkman application, keys 1,2 and 3 have special functions. pressing "1" will bring you back to the previous song, "2" will play/pause the current track, "3" will bring you to the next track to be played. this works both in shuffle on/off mode. though in shuffle mode, keys 1 and 3 will go to the random song picked by the walkman application.

its possible for w810 too. long press of number 4 will rewind the track, vice versa with the key 6.

our nurse here has a z610. on her music player app. only 4 and 6 has special functions. short press of 4 goes back to the previous track, 6 to the next track. long press of 4, rewind and long press of 6 fast forward.
