Is this a common fault? Any1else had this. I've got 1 and the screen is white, but it is not the WSOD as i can play music, ring in/out etc. On opening it up, i noticed the flex cable has a small tear in it where the flip folds - looks like wear & tear from a design fault on sonys part - the flex cable is possible too short and suffers from friction against another component
Any1 got a source for new flex cable - UK...Or international but with rapid shipping?! |

You can get them off Ebay or possibly cnn.cn, though I looked into getting one for a phone with the same problem but I think the camera unit is soldered onto this ribbon, so it would need some soldering if you replaced this ribbon.

Does it come boxed and with accessories, and is it unlocked?
If so, I'll offer a tenner for it, though am going on hol shortly for a week so might have to sort it when I get back.
