Just debranded my phone and I have to say that the default SE icons are frankly crap, even the vodafone ones were better. So I was wondering is there any way to change the icons, I've tried a few different theme's but they dont appear to change the icons.

if you want to check your CID certificate, download the wotanserver client and follow the instructions given.

you should end up with something like this

Connect your phone, pressing "C"
waiting...
phone found.
phone found at position 2
DB2010 detected
LOADER: OK
EROM: RED CID49
OTP: RED CID49
OTP: IMEI
GDFS: W810i
GDFS: CDA102555/0
internal DB number is 2010

the bit highlighted in bold is what you are looking for.
